All Saints’ Day

On November 1st in Poland and other countries Roman Catholic Church celebrates All Saints’ Day in honour of all the saints, known and unknown. I don’t know how people treat the day abroad but in my case the whole family gathers together that day and we all go to cemetery, put the lights around the tomb and decorate it with flowers. We participate in mass praying for our relatives who passed away. The day is rather contemplative but we stay positive thinking about our family members. It’s good to have such day when family gathers together, we live in different areas of Poland and it’s not easy to meet in one place at the same time. I’ll be out of town for a day. I’ll see you later, probably at the weekend I think.
