On the 14th day of Advent…

…presents await you. We’re more than half-way through the Advent and there are only 10 days left before Christmas. Hope everyone is keeping warm and healthy in this festive season. Since Advent can be also about perfume, Andy Tauer, also known as SanTauer Claus is back in town and he has a gift for 1 lucky person. So welcome to day 14 of Andy Tauer Advent Calendar. Treat for today is an Explorer Set – 3 x 15ml travel bottle. And the best thing is that you get to pick your scents from those available in the offer. The prize will come packaged in a glide-cover metal box. To join this contest and try your luck all you have to do is to answer the question:

Name your favorite character from a Christmas/winter-themed movie

It doesn’t matter if it’s a role played by an actor or an animated character! Be creative and have fun.

Technical details: the draw is worldwide but there are some exceptions, like: Italy, Spain, Croatia, Russia, Greece. Tauer Perfumes cannot ship there anymore. If you live in one of those countries you’re welcome to enter if you can provide a valid shipping address in a different country (for example the address of your friend, who could then send the prize to you). Andy will ship the prize from TauerVille in Switzerland using FedEx. Local taxes, VAT, and import fee may apply and are not covered by Tauer. The winner is responsible to make sure that they are allowed to import the prize.

Contacting the winner: After random.org has picked the lucky winner I will contact that person via email, so make sure you submit your entry giving the valid email address. If selected person fails to respond in 2 days, I will pick another winner. Your emal address will be used only to contact you and Tauer Perfumes will be the only one to receive your address for shipping the prize.

I’ve always liked the Abominable Snow Monster of the North from the Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer TV special. All of the characters are charming but the Snow Monster is just too lovable.

  7. Tiffanie says:

I like this question because I have more than one favorite holiday/winter movie but only one favorite character . . . it has to be Buddy (Will Farrell) in Elf. Makes me laugh every time I watch that movie.

Heat Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus

Kevin McCallister from Home Alone. I am not big on holiday movies but my daughter always
loved these ( even part 3).She is 19 now and at college, but she asked me to record them for her when she comes for winter break ( very soon now). We’ll watch them together ( I miss her so much).

A Christmas Story is one of my very favorite holiday movies and I have to say that The Old Man (aka Ralphie’s dad) is my favorite character from the movie–all of his bluster and bluffs and outrage over the lamp and the neighbor’s dogs–unforgettable!

  17. ockeghem says:

Emmet Otter! Between that and the John Denver & the Muppets Christmas special, that’s Christmas to me. (I’m kind of a late 70s throwback.)

Another vote for Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The part where he empties the RVs waste into the sewer drain and tells Clark, “The sh*tter was full.” is one of my favorite movie lines ever. Thanks for the draw!
